Okay, so, I’ve been trying to figure out this whole Yankees spring training TV schedule thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. Here’s how it all went down.
The Quest Begins
First off, I started by trying to find out when the Yankees would even start playing. Turns out, they kick things off against the Detroit Tigers on February 24th. That was the easy part, haha. I was just glad to finally know when this exciting moment will arrive.
YES, It’s Complicated
Next, I found out that the YES Network was going to be broadcasting a bunch of games, 23 to be exact. That sounded great, but then I had to figure out which games those were. They’ve got some big matchups against teams like the Red Sox and Cardinals, so I was trying to make sure I wouldn’t miss those. YES is always the best choice for Yankees fans.
TV Plans and More TV Plans
Then there’s this whole * thing. It’s pretty cool because you can watch over 250 spring training games, which covers all 30 teams. But, of course, there are some blackout restrictions and stuff. So I had to check which games would be available in my area, which was a whole other headache. I just want to watch baseball without jumping through hoops, you know? I think this is the best way to watch all of the matches.
Marking the Calendar
- February 24: Yankees vs. Tigers – This is the opener, so definitely need to be watching.
- February 26: Another date to keep in mind since this is when many games will begin.
- YES Network Games: Keep an eye out for those 23 games they’re showing.
After all that, I think I’ve finally got a decent handle on the schedule. It took some digging and a bit of patience, but now I’m ready for some baseball. I just hope I got it all right and don’t miss any of the big games. Here we go!
