Will MW3 Skins Transfer to BO6? Heres What You Need to Know Now!

Must read

Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter online about whether our hard-earned skins from Modern Warfare 3 are gonna carry over to the new Black Ops 6. I mean, we all spent hours, maybe even real money, to get those sweet operator skins and weapon blueprints, right? So, I decided to dig into this myself and see what’s up.

Will MW3 Skins Transfer to BO6? Heres What You Need to Know Now!

First thing I did was check out the official Call of Duty blog. Seems like they posted something about this. And guess what? It’s not the news we wanted. Activision, the big boss behind Call of Duty, straight up said that no content from Modern Warfare 2 or Modern Warfare 3 will transfer over to Black Ops 6. Yeah, you heard that right. No skins, no weapons, no camos, no blueprints. Nothing!

I was kinda bummed, not gonna lie. I have some favorite skins in MW3 that I was hoping to keep rocking in BO6. But, it makes sense, I guess. Black Ops 6 is a whole different game, with its own vibe and probably its own set of cool cosmetics to collect.

Then I went to different gaming forums to check out what other players were saying and their feelings. And found someone saying that BO6 might be integrated into Warzone. But no clear info on this. It was like, MW2 and MW3 stuff stays there, BO6 stuff stays in BO6. Makes sense to keep things separate, but still, it’s a bit of a letdown.

I also saw a few people mentioning an event where Activision talked about Black Ops 6. They confirmed there that DLC skins and other cosmetics wouldn’t be coming over. So, yeah, it’s pretty much set in stone now. It is a bit sad that we can’t bring those items to BO6.

  • Checked the official Call of Duty blog – found the bad news.
  • Scoured some gaming forums – saw others were just as confused.
  • Remembered reading about a Black Ops 6 event – confirmation about no transfer.

So, there you have it. We’re gonna have to start fresh in Black Ops 6, at least when it comes to our looks. It’s a bummer, but hey, maybe it’s a chance to build up a whole new collection of awesome gear. Who knows, maybe BO6 will have even cooler stuff than what we’ve got now. Just gotta wait and see, I guess.
