Okay, so today’s big question is: “Will Grandview race today?” I’ve been itching to catch some action at the track, and with the weather being so unpredictable lately, it’s been a real nail-biter.
First thing this morning, I jumped out of bed and checked the Grandview Speedway’s schedule. They’ve got races planned for the 2024 season, and it looks like they’re in full swing. Apparently, 2025 will mark their 63rd year of racing – that’s some serious history!
But here’s the thing: they had a rain out on May 25th. Bummer, right? That got me a little worried, so I dug deeper. I found out that they usually kick things off on Saturdays, and on Fridays, the pit gates open at 3 pm, grandstand gates at 5:30 pm, with a drivers’ meeting at the same time.
Now, I’m not sure if there’s a race scheduled for today specifically, but I did stumble upon some cool news from recent events. Seems like Alex Yankowski beat Jeff Strunk in the Freedom 76 modified race. And get this, Logan Watt, a two-time champ in the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division, snagged a big win too. Sounds like some exciting stuff has been happening!
