Why is everyone talking about Justin Physical 100? Find out why he is so popular.

Must read

So, I’ve been hearing all this buzz about that “Physical 100” show. You see these folks doing insane stuff, and honestly, it makes my back hurt just watching. Then there’s my mate, Justin. Not on the show, mind you, but he’s one of those guys who’s always, annoyingly, in shape. Never stops. And I thought, “Alright, I gotta do something.” Not the TV-level madness, obviously. Just my own little “Justin Physical 100.” My version, you know?

My grand plan? Well, it wasn’t about flipping tires or hanging from bars until my arms gave out. Nah, my “Justin Physical 100” was way more down to earth. It basically started with me realizing I was getting winded going up a flight of stairs. Yeah, sad, I know. I used to be pretty active, played a bit of footy, could run for a bus without feeling like I was about to keel over. But life, you know? It kinda creeps up on you. One day you’re okay, the next you’re groaning when you bend down to tie your shoes.

So, I decided, 100 days. Not 100 crazy workouts, but 100 days of something. Doing something more than just moving from the couch to the fridge and back. It started simple enough.

  • I tried waking up a bit earlier to go for a walk. Some days it was great, other days the snooze button was my best friend.
  • I told myself I’d do some push-ups. The first day, I think I managed about five before my arms felt like wet noodles. Justin probably does a hundred before breakfast.
  • I even tried to eat a bit healthier. Swapped out the crisps for an apple. Sometimes.

Let me tell you, it wasn’t glamorous. There were days I just flat out skipped. Days I felt like a complete idiot for even trying. My muscles ached in places I didn’t know I had muscles. And the motivation? That thing is slippery. One minute you’re all fired up, the next you’re thinking, “What’s the point? That extra biscuit isn’t gonna kill me.”

But here’s the funny thing. I started this whole “Justin Physical 100” thing because I felt a bit rubbish, a bit inspired by the extreme, and a bit shamed by my ever-active friend. I was thinking I needed some huge transformation. But that’s not really what happened. I didn’t suddenly get a six-pack or start running marathons. Not even close.

What I did do was start to feel a bit… better. Less creaky. I could get up the stairs without sounding like an old steam train. I actually started looking forward to those walks, sometimes. It wasn’t about hitting some crazy “100” target perfectly. It was more about just consistently trying, even if “trying” on some days just meant not having that second donut.

So, did I complete the “Justin Physical 100” like a champ? Honestly, probably not by the original, strict definition I had in my head. But I did make a dent. I got moving. And I realized it’s not about these massive, heroic efforts all the time. Sometimes, it’s just about stringing together a few decent attempts. And maybe, just maybe, not feeling quite so bad when I see Justin heading out for his fifth run of the week. I’m doing my thing. My own pace. And that’s alright.
