This went on for a bit, this search. It wasn’t a full-time job, obviously, but whenever I had a slow moment or felt like a bit of detective work, I’d pick it up again. What I took away from it was a deeper appreciation for those unsung heroes in any project. It also made me think about the nature of legacy. Sometimes it’s not about a big name or a public profile. Sometimes, it’s just about doing good work and letting that speak for itself, even if it’s only heard by a few people deciphering old code years later.
So yeah, that was my little journey with “Karen Facundo.” Didn’t find the person, but I think I found a bit of perspective, and that’s something, right? Just one of those things you stumble into and learn from in unexpected ways. That’s how it goes sometimes.
