The race started, and I was glued to the screen. Thorpedo Anna, ridden by Brian J. Hernandez Jr., just took off! I mean, she led the pack from the get-go. It was incredible to watch. I was on the edge of my seat, yelling at the TV like a crazy person.
As they headed into the final stretch, Thorpedo Anna was still in the lead. Just F Y I was trying to catch up, but Thorpedo Anna was just too strong. I watched her cross the finish line, and I couldn’t believe it—she won by four lengths! The winning time was 1:50.83.

Ended the day feeling pretty darn good about my hunch. Thorpedo Anna’s win was a big one—$10.98 to win, $6.06 to place, not bad at all! Plus, seeing her grab that garland of lilies was just the cherry on top.
I heard that the winner gets $846,300 of the $1,500,000 purse. That’s some serious cash! And you know what? I might just treat myself to something nice after today’s win.
