So, today I want to talk about something I’ve been grinding on lately: getting my hands on a Shiny Aerodactyl in Pokémon GO. Let me tell you, it’s been a journey, a real test of patience.

When I finally found a Mega Aerodactyl raid, I jumped right in. The battle was tough, but I managed to win. I was so pumped, thinking I might get a Shiny on my first try. No such luck. But I didn’t give up. I kept at it, raiding whenever I could.
I learned that the chances of encountering a shiny Aerodactyl are pretty slim, around 1 in 450. I started doing some math in my head and realized I was in for the long haul. But I was determined. I kept raiding, day after day. I even started to become a regular at some local raid spots, getting to know other players on the same quest.

After what felt like forever, it finally happened. I won another Mega Aerodactyl raid, and there it was – a Shiny Aerodactyl. I almost couldn’t believe my eyes. I caught it, and man, that feeling was incredible. All those raids, all that time, it was all worth it. I went on to catch the normal one and use the normal one to evolve into a Shiny Mega Aerodactyl, double happiness!
So, that’s my story. It wasn’t easy, and it definitely took a lot of time and effort, but getting that Shiny Aerodactyl was one of the most satisfying moments I’ve had in Pokémon GO. If you’re thinking about going for it, just be prepared for a grind. But trust me, it’s worth it in the end.
