Getting My Pay Straight at Little Caesars
Alright, let’s talk about getting paid at Little Caesars, specifically my own run-in with their payroll system back when I was slinging pizzas. It wasn’t rocket science, but like anything involving money, you gotta pay attention.
When I first started, onboarding involved the usual stuff. Filled out my tax forms, gave them my bank details for direct deposit. Pretty standard. They told us payday was every two weeks, like clockwork. And for a while, it was.
Then came this one check. I looked at the stub – we got online access to view them – and the hours seemed short. I always kept a little notebook where I jotted down my start and end times, just a habit I picked up from another job years ago. Saved my bacon more than once, let me tell you.
So, I checked my notebook against the paystub. Yep, definitely short. About four hours short, which isn’t nothing when you’re counting on every dollar.
Figuring Out What Went Wrong
First thing Monday, I went straight to my shift manager. Showed him my notebook, showed him the paystub on my phone. He was cool about it, listened to what I had to say. He wasn’t the payroll guy, obviously, but he was the first step.
He had me fill out this little form. Basically explaining the issue, the date of the shift I thought was wrong, and the correct hours. He said he’d pass it up the chain. Seemed simple enough.
The Waiting Game
And then, well, I waited. The manager said it might take a bit to get fixed, maybe show up on the next check. Okay, fair enough. Things take time.
The next payday rolled around. Checked the stub again. Still not there. The correction hadn’t been made. Now I was getting a little annoyed. Four hours is four hours, you know?
So, I went back to the manager. He remembered me, thankfully. He made a call right then and there. Talked to someone, sounded like the district manager or maybe someone in HR, couldn’t really tell. Hung up and told me they found the issue – seemed like a punch-in error didn’t get corrected properly in their system – and it would definitely be on the next paycheck. Plus the hours I was currently owed.
Finally Sorted
Third time’s the charm, I guess. The following paycheck, two weeks later, everything was correct. The missing four hours were added, plus my regular pay for that period. It was a relief, honestly.
Overall, the process itself wasn’t terrible, just a bit slow. Here’s kinda what I did:

- Filled out their required form detailing the problem.
