Okay, let’s talk about what happened with the Michigan team.
Man, what a season for them, right? They were just steamrolling everybody. I mean, they only had two games that were even kind of close. That one against Ohio State, where they were ahead the whole time, and then the game with Alabama. They totally dominated.
I was watching the game, and it felt like they were playing at home, even though they were in Houston. It was crazy! The whole place was decked out in blue, like, even in the crowd, it was a total blue wave. And on the field, it was the same story. They just took over.
You know what gets me? The Michigan players kept saying they were proving everyone wrong. Like, we were the ones who got them all fired up to win the championship. It’s like they took all the doubts and used it as fuel. Wild, right?
- They had this whole “us against the world” thing going on.
- It was after that whole sign-stealing mess, too.
- Everyone was counting them out, but they didn’t care.
I remember hearing this commentator, Anna Staver, talking about it. She was breaking down the whole situation. And then there’s Desmond Howard – he’s always got something to say about college football, especially Michigan, haha.
But yeah, it’s a crazy story. They were under so much pressure, with all the drama going on. People were hating on them, calling them cheaters and whatnot. It was a wild ride, but they pulled it off!
The Aftermath
So, what now? They won, they proved everyone wrong, and now they’re the champs. I guess we’ll see what happens next year. Will they keep it up? Can they handle the pressure of being on top? Only time will tell. It’s gonna be interesting, that’s for sure.
