Okay, so the other day I was trying to figure out how long I had until January 10th. It’s not a super important date or anything, but I had something planned and needed to get my ducks in a row. My brain is, like, totally fried most of the time, so I knew I couldn’t just “do the math” in my head.

My First Attempt (Fail!)
First, I tried just counting on my fingers. Seriously. I started with the current date and tried to keep track, but I lost count like, three times. It’s embarrassing, but hey, it happens.
Getting a Little Smarter
Then I thought, “Okay, use the calendar app on your phone, dummy!” So, I opened it up and started manually counting the days. That was a little better, but still tedious. I kept getting distracted and worrying I’d miscounted.
Using an Online Tool
Finally, I gave up and looked for a “days until” calculator online. Found one, Typed in January 10th, and boom! The number was just magically right there, So easy. It does show a number.
So, the moral of the story is: I could find some easy way to slove the time calculation problem. And don’t be afraid to use the tools at your disposal, even if they seem super obvious after the fact. My brain cells are grateful.
