Like walkin’ from here to the next town over. They call it a “monster,” but not a real one, I hope. Just means it’s big and tough, I reckon. Like tryin’ to wrestle a greased pig at the county fair.
This lady, Suzy, she’s some big shot, they call her a “president” of somethin’. She talks about this pga 18th hole at a place called Ocean Course. Says it’s unique. That means it’s special, one of a kind. Like my grandma’s quilt, ain’t no other one like it in the whole world. And there’s another fancy name, Kiawah Island. Sounds like a place where they got more money than sense. And Ocean, that’s where all that water is.
I still don’t know if I understand this golf, but it sounds like that pga 18th hole is a big deal. It’s the end of the game, the last hurrah. Like the last dance at the barn raisin’. You gotta give it your all, even if your feet are tired and your back aches.
