Apparently, Luffy corrects him, says his name and all. Then this Iron Giant drops a massive Haki bomb, sends the Elders flying back to Mary Geoise (minus Saturn, for some reason), and lets the Sunny land safely. Wild, right?
Honestly, it felt kinda outta nowhere. Like, where did this Iron Giant’s power-up come from? And why is Saturn always hanging back? Something’s fishy there. Anyway, I dug around a bit more, trying to find some context. Some folks were saying this might tie into some ancient technology, maybe even Vegapunk’s old research. Makes sense, I guess.
Next, I tried to figure out why there was a break coming up. I saw that it wasn’t in the written press statement, but they needed to “recharge”. A lot of people were grumbling about the manga schedule being too intense, and Oda needing a break. Which, yeah, fair enough. Dude’s been at it for decades. Gotta take care of yourself.
Then I stumbled upon some stuff about Chapter 1134. Luffy apparently thanks someone for saving Robin’s life like, 22 years ago. No clue who that could be, but it’s One Piece, so it’s probably some ridiculously convoluted backstory we’ve never heard before. And the Straw Hats chilling with the Giants? Sounds like a nice breather after all the chaos.

My Thoughts
Look, this chapter sounds bonkers. The Iron Giant going full power, the Elders getting yeeted, Luffy being all sentimental – it’s a lot to take in. But honestly, that’s One Piece for you. Always throwing curveballs. I’m just hoping this break doesn’t kill the momentum. And I really, really want to know who saved Robin’s life!
