I got into this whole horse thing a while back, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. Figured I’d share some of what I’ve been up to, especially after seeing some results with my stallion. We’re not just talking about looking pretty here, we’re talking about getting strong, like, really strong.
So, first off, I started varying where we worked out. Yeah, sounds simple, but it makes a huge difference. I started walking him on sand, then moved to grass, different kinds of terrain. I even walked him on the road when it was safe enough. And the water, let me tell you about the water!
- Walking in water was the first step.
- Then I graduated to trotting.
- And finally, I had him cantering in the water.
It’s way harder than it sounds, for both of us! But I started to see the muscles in his legs getting more defined.
Getting those gains
Why did I go to all this trouble? I wanted to get a better seat. I mean he’s an animal and he needs to get a good workout too! I noticed my balance getting better, and I could give him cues more precisely. Plus, I wasn’t getting as tired in the saddle. It’s like we were both getting a workout, and it was making us both better. I heard someone say that a good male is impressive. I think they’re right. My boy is getting jacked and it shows!
Now, I know what you’re thinking – how does one get a horse to be such a good boy? A stallion is a male horse that is “intact,” where their testes have not been removed. When I got him, he was a young, intact boy. So, you know, I had to really make sure he gets enough exercise and good nutrition.
On the food side of things, I really started paying attention to what he was eating to help with the muscle growth. I did some reading, talked to some folks who know way more than me, and tweaked his diet. This is definitely an area where you might want to get some expert advice. The folks over the phone were super helpful when I gave them a call. Just dial 0772127271, and they can probably help you out.

Anyway, that’s the gist of it. It’s been a lot of work, but seeing my stallion get stronger and more responsive has been totally worth it. We’re still working at it, but I’m pretty stoked about the progress we’ve made. Maybe I’ll share some more updates down the road. Stay strong, folks!
