Alright, so yesterday I was trying to figure out what channel the Spurs game was on. It was a whole mission, lemme tell ya.
First, I did the obvious thing, you know? I fired up Google. Just typed in “Spurs game today channel.” Got a bunch of results, but nothing concrete. Just a bunch of sports sites with schedules that were either outdated or just plain confusing. It was kinda frustrating.
Next, I remembered I had a couple of sports apps on my phone. ESPN and some other one I can’t even remember the name of. I went into both of them and tried to find the Spurs game. ESPN was showing some other game, and the other app… well, it kept trying to get me to sign up for some premium subscription. No thanks!
Then, I remembered my buddy Mark is a HUGE Spurs fan. Like, knows-everything-about-them kinda guy. So I gave him a call. He picks up, I ask him, “Hey, Mark, you know what channel the Spurs are on tonight?” He laughs and says, “Dude, it’s on Bally Sports Southwest, as always!”
Bally Sports Southwest! I should have known. I used to have that channel, but I switched cable providers a while back, and I wasn’t sure if I still got it. So I turned on the TV, scrolled through the channels, and lo and behold, there it was! Bally Sports Southwest. Spurs pre-game show already on.
Success!
But here’s the kicker: I almost missed the start of the game ’cause I was messing around with all these apps and websites. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best, you know? Just call a friend who knows their stuff.
