Week 7 Fantasy Sleepers Guide: Top 3 Must-Add Players Now

Must read

Digging Into Week 7 Sleepers

Alright folks, needed fresh blood for my fantasy squad this week. Was digging into stats late Tuesday night, coffee pot working overtime. My usual sources felt stale, so I fired up the league dashboard first thing Wednesday morning. Had to see who was actually floating around free agency, not just those hyped-up “experts” keep yelling about.

Week 7 Fantasy Sleepers Guide: Top 3 Must-Add Players Now

Numbers weren’t telling the whole story, though. Kept pulling up tape – real game footage, not just highlights. My gut kept nagging me about a couple of backup guys getting way more touches lately. Their snap counts were quietly creeping up week after week, while everyone else was sleeping on them. My dog barked halfway through, nearly jumped outta my skin.

The Three Standouts

After rewatching plays ’til my eyes felt fuzzy, three names kept jumping off the screen:

  • RB Mike Boone (DEN): This dude? Was stuck behind two guys most weeks. Suddenly last Sunday, he’s getting red zone looks and catching passes clean. Starter got banged up Monday practice? Yeah, Boone’s workload is primed to explode this Sunday. Scooped him up before breakfast.
  • WR Jalen Tolbert (DAL): Okay, Cowboys have weapons. But their #2 WR? Couldn’t shake a hamstring thing for weeks. Watched Tolbert step up Tuesday – crisp routes, great hands in traffic. Starting QB was hitting him constantly in practice clips. Felt like finding a $20 bill in an old coat. Added him immediately.
  • TE Josh Whyle (TEN): Everyone sleeps on tight ends. Not me this week. Titans starter went down hard Week 6. Whyle ain’t flashy, but he’s big, blocks well, and suddenly he’s the only real target for short passes over the middle late in games. Saw him used as a safety valve twice in crucial downs last week. Claimed him off waivers pronto.

Why These Guys Now?

Wasn’t rocket science, just paying attention when others ain’t. Boone? That backfield’s wide open now. Tolbert? Getting starter reps with a top QB throwing dimes. Whyle? No competition left for snaps. These bench guys are suddenly stepping into real roles, right when bye weeks are gutting teams. Ignored the big names – everyone fights over those scraps. Went straight for these hungry backups climbing the depth chart unnoticed.

Update: All three are now sitting pretty on my bench, ready to plug into Week 7 lineups if my usual starters sputter. Feels like I got there before the herd this time. Always trust the tape and the workload trends, friends. Now go grab ’em before your league mates wake up!
