I’m a huge fan of the English Premier League, and I gotta tell you, figuring out how to watch it on DIRECTV took some doing. So, I figured I’d share my experience to maybe save some of you the headache I went through.

First off, I started by digging around online to see what packages even showed the Premier League. Turns out, it’s not as simple as just having DIRECTV. You gotta have the right channels. From what I gathered, the games are spread across NBC, USA Network, and Peacock. There’s also Telemundo and UNIVERSO if you want Spanish commentary. This was important information.
Finding the Right Package
Then, I checked out DIRECTV’s website, and oh boy, the options! It’s like a maze. They’ve got packages galore, but I finally zeroed in on the one called “PREMIER.” It’s a bit pricey, something like $164.99 a month for two years, plus some extra fees and taxes. I remember there was also a regional sports fee, which was another $17.99 or so a month. It all added up quickly, that’s for sure.
So I decided to give them a call. I spoke to a rep, a nice enough guy, and he confirmed that PREMIER was the way to go for all the Premier League action. He walked me through the whole process of signing up, which wasn’t too bad, all things considered.
Figuring Out the Channels
Once I got everything set up, I had to figure out which channels were which. I grabbed my remote and started flipping through. I found USA Network pretty easily. NBC was a no-brainer. But Peacock is a streaming thing, so that took a little extra effort to get to.
- USA Network: Found it on my channel guide. Pretty straightforward.
- NBC: This one was easy, it’s a basic channel.
- Peacock: This one’s a streaming service, so I had to use the DIRECTV app feature to get to it.
Finally, after all that, I was ready to watch some soccer! It was a bit of a process, but now I can catch all the games without missing a beat. Hopefully, my little adventure here will help some of you out there. Enjoy the games, folks!
