Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little experiment today with the Valladolid vs. Rayo Vallecano match. I’m no expert, but I was curious to see if I could find some interesting stats.
First, I started by just generally searching around for info on the match. I wanted to get a feel for the teams’ recent performance.
Then, I looked at some recent results. I wasn’t sure where to find the best data, so I was just browsing different sports sites. Found some basic win/loss/draw stuff.
Digging a Little Deeper
I decided I wanted more than just wins and losses. So, I tried to find some sites that tracked things like goals scored, maybe possession stats… you know, stuff that gives you a better picture of how the teams actually play.

What I Realized
It is not easy for me! I am not good at data analysis, and the websites which have game data all mixed. It took me some time to find the data.
Ultimately, I figured out that while I could find some information, really understanding the match would take way more time and effort. I’d need to learn how to properly analyze the data and probably find some better sources,too.
