Okay, so I’ve been hearing a lot about the Bridgestone e6 golf balls, and how they’re supposed to be great for amateurs like me. I figured, why not give them a shot? My usual game involves a lot of, shall we say, “unintentional exploration” of the course, so anything that promises more distance and accuracy is worth a try.
First thing I did was grab a box online. Pretty easy, nothing special there. I made sure to get the “e6” and not some other Bridgestone model. The box arrived, and I was ready to hit the course.
The First Round
My first round with these things? Honestly, I was a little skeptical. I mean, how much can a ball really change your game? But I teed up the first one, took my usual swing, and…wow. I’m not saying I suddenly turned into a pro, but that ball went straight. Like, way straighter than I’m used to. It felt solid coming off the club, too, not too hard, not too soft.

Subsequent Rounds
I’ve now played about five rounds with the e6 balls, and I’m pretty much sold. They’re not a miracle cure for a bad swing, but they definitely help. I feel like I can swing with a little more confidence, knowing that the ball is less likely to go wildly off * score has improved. This is a big surprise!
The durability seems pretty good, too. I haven’t noticed any significant scuffs or cuts, even after bouncing a few off the cart path (oops!).
So, my final verdict? The Bridgestone e6 balls are definitely worth a try if you’re an average golfer looking for a little extra distance and accuracy. They’re not going to magically fix your swing, but they can definitely help you play a little better and have more fun on the course. I’m sticking with them for now!
