Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Wuthering Waves lately, and let me tell you, the Magistrate fight? It’s a doozy. I wanted to share my experience, from the initial “oh crap” moment to finally figuring this boss out.

First time I ran into the Magistrate, I got absolutely wrecked. I mean, flattened. I went in with my usual team, thinking I could just brute-force my way through, like with most other enemies. Big mistake. This guy hits hard, and he’s got this annoying habit of teleporting around the arena.
So, I went back to the drawing board. I spent some time, and I mean time, looking at his attack patterns.
My Prep Steps included:
- Watching his moves: No, really. Just dodging and observing, not even attacking. I needed to understand his rhythm.
- Team adjustment: I realized my main DPS wasn’t cutting it. I switched to a character with better range and faster attacks.
- Resonator upgrades: Yep, I’d been neglecting those. I poured some resources into boosting my team’s stats.
The actual fight? It still took a few tries, even after all that prep. The key, I found, was patience. Don’t get greedy with your attacks. Hit him a couple of times, then dodge away. He’s got this one move where he charges up a big blast – that’s your cue to get the heck out of there.
And then, finally, bam! He went down. It was a close one, my health was in the red, but I did it. The feeling of accomplishment? Amazing. It really felt like I’d earned that victory.
So, yeah, that’s my Magistrate story. My main takeaway? Don’t underestimate this boss. Come prepared, learn his moves, and don’t be afraid to adjust your strategy. And most importantly: keep trying! You’ll get him eventually.
