So, the other day I got this crazy idea to dive into the world of classic cars, specifically the Type 35 Bugatti. I mean, who hasn’t dreamed of owning one of those beauties?

Getting Started
First things first, I needed to learn everything I could about this car.
- I hit the internet, of course. Wikipedia, forums, dedicated fan sites – you name it, I read it.
- I even found some old books and magazines at a local used bookstore. Talk about a treasure trove!
- Then, I needed to get some practice in by drawing it up.
The Practice
Next up, I started sketching. I figured the best way to understand the car’s design was to try and draw it myself.

- I grabbed my sketchbook and pencils.
- I started with simple outlines, trying to capture the car’s iconic shape. It’s tougher than it looks!
- After a few rough drafts, I started to get a feel for the curves and lines.
The Next Step
I chose to make it by 3D printing.
- I started to learn some basic 3D modeling.
- I spent hours tweaking and refining, trying to get every detail just right.
- After some mistakes I printed out a small-scale model.
Seeing the Result
Finally, I printed the result.
- The 3D printer whirred to life, slowly but surely building up the model layer by layer.
- After a few hours, I held a little a prototype in my hands.
It’s not perfect, of course. There’s still a lot I want to improve, but it’s a start! I’m already planning my next version, maybe with some added details or a different color.
