The Finals Ranked System Explained: How Does It Work for You?

Must read

Okay, so, I dove into “The Finals” recently, and let me tell you, the ranked system is something else. I started like everyone else, you know, at the bottom – Bronze. Man, those first few matches were a mess. I ran around, tried to figure out what was going on, and, well, let’s just say I spent a lot of time watching the respawn timer.

But I stuck with it. I watched some videos, picked up a few tricks, and started to get the hang of the game. Slowly but surely, I climbed my way up to Silver. This is where things got a bit more serious. People started to actually use their gadgets, and teamwork became a thing. I had to adjust, learn to play with my team, and not just run off on my own.

  • After a lot of back and forth, some wins, some losses, I finally hit Gold. Now we’re talking! The competition was tougher, the matches were longer, and every win felt like a real accomplishment. I started experimenting with different characters, found a couple that I really liked, and focused on getting good with them.

  • Platinum was the next big hurdle. This is where I really had to step up my game. I started paying more attention to the meta, learning the maps inside and out, and really working on my aim. It was a grind, no doubt, but I eventually made it.

Reaching New Heights

Diamond. Just saying it sounds cool, right? This is where the real elite players hang out. Every match was intense, every decision mattered. I had to be on my A-game every time I logged in. I won’t lie, there were times when I got frustrated, when I felt like I’d hit a wall. But I kept pushing, kept learning, and kept improving.

I spent a good chunk of time grinding in Diamond, refining my skills, and learning from every match. It was tough, but I knew what I wanted. And then, one glorious day, it happened. I finally broke through and reached Ruby. You can’t even imagine how I felt. It was like all those hours, all those close calls, all those frustrating losses finally paid off. Even though I’m not in the top 500 yet, it still felt amazing.

This whole experience taught me a lot. Not just about the game, but about myself. It showed me that with enough dedication, enough perseverance, you can achieve anything. Even if you start at the bottom, even if you stumble along the way, you can always climb your way to the top. And that’s a lesson I’ll carry with me, both in “The Finals” and in life.
