Oh boy, you won’t believe what I did! So, I’ve been a huge Swiftie since, like, forever, and I finally got to do something I’ve always dreamed of – combining my love for Taylor Swift with a trip to the Sunshine State! Yep, I went on a Taylor Swift-themed adventure in Florida, and it was epic!

First things first, I had to do some digging. Turns out Taylor’s dad, Scott Swift, lives in a fancy $4 million pad in Pinellas County. I made a mental note. Then I remembered reading somewhere that Taylor wrote a song called “Florida!!!” with Florence + The Machine. I immediately put on my headphones and listened to it on repeat. It’s such a cool song, all about the wildness and beauty of Florida, and wanting to escape there.
I started planning my trip around the song and this whole idea of Florida being a place to get away from it all, just like in the song. I booked my flights, packed my bags, and off I went!
The Journey Begins
Once I landed, I made a beeline for Pinellas County. I didn’t exactly stalk Scott Swift’s house, but, let’s be real, I drove by it a couple of times. Okay, maybe more than a couple. I wanted to soak in the vibe, you know? Imagine where Taylor might have hung out when she visited.
- Explored the beaches: I spent hours walking along the sandy shores, blasting “Florida!!!” and other Taylor tunes.
- Visited local spots: I hit up some of the local cafes and shops, picturing Taylor doing the same.
- Enjoyed the sunset: Each night, I watched the sunset over the ocean, feeling like I was in my own little Taylor Swift music video.
I also made sure to check out some of the places that inspired the song. It was like stepping into the lyrics. I could almost feel the drama and excitement she sings about. It’s like she painted a picture of Florida with her words, and I was living in it.
And guess what? I heard she gave out like $197 million in bonuses to everyone on her tour! Truck drivers, caterers, everyone! That’s so cool, right? And she closed out her tour in Canada and chose Vancouver because the fans there know all the lyrics! What a sweetheart.

Honestly, the whole trip was a dream come true. I felt so connected to Taylor and her music, and I got to experience Florida in a whole new way. It wasn’t just a vacation; it was a pilgrimage! It felt really good to do this!
If you’re a Swiftie and you get the chance, you totally need to do a Taylor Swift-inspired trip. It’s an experience you won’t forget!
