Okay, so the other day I was trying to remember all the movies Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks have done together. I could picture scenes in my head, but the titles? Blanking. So, I decided to make a definitive list for myself, and figured I’d share the process.

Start with What You Know
First, I grabbed a pen and paper – yeah, I’m old school sometimes. I jotted down the ones I could remember off the top of my head:
- Saving Private Ryan – Obviously. That opening scene alone… unforgettable.
- Catch Me If You Can – Loved the cat-and-mouse game between Hanks and DiCaprio.
Hit the Internet
I knew there were more, so I fired up my laptop and headed straight to Google. I just typed in something like “Steven Spielberg Tom Hanks movies” and boom, a bunch of articles and lists popped up. It is very convenient.
Digging Through the Results
I skimmed through a few of the search results. Most of them were pretty consistent, which was good. I started adding to my handwritten list:
- The Terminal – Right! How could I forget that one? Hanks stuck in an airport.
- Bridge of Spies – A Cold War thriller. Totally slipped my mind.
- The Post-This movie also stars Meryl Streep.
Putting It All Together
After I felt like I had a complete list, I typed it up on my computer, just to have a cleaner version. I was able to find 5 movies that were collaborations between Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.
It’s not exactly rocket science, but it’s satisfying to have a complete list now. Next time someone asks me about Spielberg and Hanks movies, I’m ready!
