Okay, so I decided to put together a women’s golfer costume. It seemed pretty straightforward, but you know how these things can go.

Getting Started
First, I figured out what I needed. Obviously, the key is the look, so I focused on a few main pieces:
- A collared shirt (polo style)
- A skirt or skort
- Golf shoes (or something that looks like them)
- A visor
- Optional: golf glove and a golf club (toy or real)
The Hunt
I started by raiding my own closet. No luck on a proper golf skirt, but I did find a plain white polo shirt that would work. Score!
Next, I hit up a couple of local stores. I was hoping to find a cheap, sporty-looking skirt. I had no need to buy a spcial golf skirt. And I did find a simple navy blue one. Perfect!
For the shoes, I just decided to wear some plain white sneakers. I mean, who’s going to be checking my soles, right?
The visor was easy. A sports store, grabbed a basic white one, and done.

Putting It All Together
I tried everything on, and it looked… pretty good! The polo and skirt were a classic combo. The sneakers were a bit of a cheat, but they worked. I then put the visor on my head.
I did borrow a golf glove from a friend. And that really added a nice touch.
Finally, I grabbed an old, beat-up golf club from the garage. I’m not even sure where it came from, but it definitely completed the look. I Just found the golf club in my garage.
The Final Result
I looked in the mirror, and yeah, I definitely looked like a golfer! It wasn’t perfect, but it was recognizable and fun. Most importantly, I hadn’t spent big money to look this good. All that mattered was that I had the golfer’s vibe.
