Okay, so I was messing around with some baseball stats today, and I got curious about Hunter Renfroe and Mike Trout. I wanted to see how they stacked up against each other, you know, just for fun.

Digging into the Stats
First, I pulled up their career stats. Just basic stuff like batting average, home runs, RBIs – the usual. It was pretty easy to find on a bunch of sports websites.
Then I started comparing their numbers year by year. I made a little table on a piece of paper, nothing fancy, just to keep track. Like, in 2022, who hit more homers? Who had a better batting average?
- Column 1: Player Name (Renfroe, Trout)
- Column 2: Year
- Column 3: Home Runs
- Column 4: Batting Average
- Column 5: RBIs…and so on.
What I Found
The most interesting part for me was, that I find their differences between each season’s performance, then I can know more clearly about how the player’s change.
It was just a little personal project, I am trying to find a good method to record them, and maybe it will be shown clearly and friendly.
