This here story, it’s all about that season ticket for Crystal Palace. You know, that football team? My grandson, he’s crazy about ’em. He keeps going on and on about getting one of them season tickets. Says it’s the only way to see all the games.
Now, I don’t know much about football, but I do know that those tickets ain’t cheap. I heard some folks pay a lot of money. Like, a whole lot! Enough to buy a new cow, maybe even two. I heard some is 3,000. I don’t know, it is a lot of money!
But my grandson, he’s a good boy. He works hard, helps me out on the farm. So, I been thinking, maybe I’ll help him out. Maybe we can get one of them Crystal Palace season tickets together. Split the cost, you know? Make it a family thing.
He says with that season ticket, you get to see all the home games. And they play at that place, Selhurst Park. He says it’s a real nice place. Lots of folks yelling and cheering. Sounds like a fun time, I guess. They are red and blue. I like red and blue. It is pretty.
And if you ain’t got a season ticket, you can still get a chance to go. They got something called a Membership. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But it’s just another way to get tickets, I reckon. You can buy it. Then you can see the games.

My grandson, he told me that if you get the membership, you get some other stuff too. Like, they give you a discount at that Crystal Palace store. Ten percent off, he said. That’s good. Can get a new shirt or a hat, maybe. Ten percent! It is not bad!
They even got special tickets for the little ones, the kids. Under 10 years old, they get a real cheap ticket. Like, 100 for the whole season. That’s like, five per game. That is cheap! I think. My grandson told me that.
And you get to see those pre-season games, too. The ones before the real games start. Practice games, I guess. And the young’uns, the Academy games. Those are the kids learning to play. Future stars, they call ’em.
My grandson wants to see them all. He wants to see the home games and away games. I do not know what is away game. He told me you need to do a ballot. I do not know what is ballot. But you can see the away games, too!
So, yeah, that Crystal Palace season ticket, it’s a big deal. But you can be a member, too. You still can see the games. If you are a member, you get a discount. That is good.
They got this thing called Season Ticket+. It’s like a bonus, I guess. You get extra stuff. You can share your ticket with someone. Maybe. I don’t know how it works, but it sounds good, right?
My grandson keeps saying, “Grandma, we gotta get that season ticket!” He’s so excited. And you know what? I’m starting to get excited, too. Maybe I’ll go to a game with him. Wear one of them red and blue scarves. Cheer for Crystal Palace. Why not, right?
They said the price is good. The price is the same as 19/20. I do not know what is 19/20. It is a year. But it is a good price. I think. I will ask my grandson.
