So, I’ve been following Scottie Scheffler’s game for a while now, and today was another day to see how he’d perform. I got up early, grabbed my coffee, and settled in to watch the rounds.

First up, I checked out the starting stats. Looked like he was set to play in the FedEx St. Jude Championship. I made some notes on my pad – always good to have a record.
- Scottie’s up!
FedEx St. Jude Championship Notes:
I started with the earlier rounds, catching up on his performance from previous days. One day he shot a 1-under 69, placing him seven shots behind the leader, Hideki Matsuyama. Another day, he nailed a 4-under-par 66. Solid, consistent playing.
Then came today’s round. I watched him tee off, noting down each shot. The first one was a beauty, a solid start, keeping his tee shot on the fairway on the 430-yard par 4 (Hole 14, for those keeping track). I jotted that down.
- Shot 1: Tee shot on the fairway.
Today’s Round (Hole 14):
I followed each hole, scribbling notes as I went. There were some tense moments, but Scottie kept his cool. By the time he hit the clubhouse, he’d posted a 6-under 65, giving him a two-shot lead at that point. Pretty impressive, right?
- 6-under 65!
- Two-shot lead (when he finished).
Results for Today:
But the day wasn’t over yet. Schauffele was still out there, and things could change. In the third round of the PGA Championship, I saw that he had a 2-over 73. Not his best, but golf’s a funny game – anything can happen. He finished his second round with a 5-under 65.

I kept an eye on the leaderboard, refreshing it now and then. And then came the final moments! Sunday was a great day as he made a 9-under on the day, with 6-under on the back 9. Awesome. And in the final round, it was a thrill.
I also checked the news and the schedule. Looks like he’s been on fire since winning the gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games men’s golf event. It’s fun to keep up with all the details, even if it’s just for my own records.
I will sum up my notes for the day:
- Consistent performance across rounds.
- Strong finish today with 6-under 65.
- Keep an eye on the leaderboard!
Overall Notes:
In the end, it was another great day of golf. I closed my notebook, feeling satisfied with my detailed tracking of Scottie Scheffler’s performance. Can’t wait for the next tournament!
This is my way of staying close to the game and enjoying every bit of the action. Hope you enjoyed my little recap!
