Yesterday, I bumped into a name online – Scott Moran. I didn’t know who he was, but the name rang a bell. So, I decided to dig a little deeper and see what I could find out about this guy.

First, I typed “Scott Moran” into the search bar and hit enter. I got a bunch of results, but nothing really stood out. Then I started clicking around, checking out different pages.
I found a few articles about some award called the “National Board of Review William K. Everson Award for Film History”. Apparently, this Scott Moran guy won it back in 2014. Sounds impressive, but I’m not really a film buff, so I moved on.
Next, I stumbled upon some academic-sounding stuff. There was a paper about a “process model of courage” and how people make decisions to do brave things. It seemed interesting, but a bit too heavy for a casual read. I skimmed through it, but didn’t really get into the details.
- I also found something about “Lady Scott” arriving in London from New Zealand in 1913, which seemed like a random historical fact.
- There was also a mention of “binary format” and “CodePlex” – some computer stuff that’s way over my head.
- And then there was this thing about understanding the enemy’s tactics and signs of a spiritual attack. I’m not sure what to make of that, but it definitely piqued my curiosity.
Honestly, after all that searching, I still don’t really know who Scott Moran is. It seems like he’s done a lot of different things, from winning film history awards to maybe writing about courage and spiritual warfare? It’s all a bit confusing.
But hey, that’s the internet for you, right? You start looking for one thing and end up down a rabbit hole of random information. I guess I’ll just add Scott Moran to my list of things I vaguely know about, and maybe one day I’ll figure out the whole story.
