Rock Bottom 2: What It Means and Simple Steps to Get Your Life Back.

Must read

Okay, so, “Rock Bottom 2,” huh? Sounds dramatic, and honestly, it kind of was. This is basically the follow-up to my last epic fail, where I totally messed up my attempt to build that fancy automated watering system for my plants. Round two, let’s go!

Rock Bottom 2: What It Means and Simple Steps to Get Your Life Back.

First, I scrapped everything. I mean, everything. The old, janky setup? Gone. The confusing wires? Gone. I even threw away that weird bucket I was using. Starting fresh, you know?

Then, I went back to basics. I spent a good few hours just watching videos and reading articles. This time, I wasn’t just skimming through, I was actually taking notes. Like, with a real pen and paper. Old school, I know, but it helped.

Next, I bought a completely different kit. The first one was way too complicated, with parts I didn’t even understand. This new one was simpler, more… idiot-proof, which is exactly what I needed.

The Actual Build (Finally!)

  • I laid out all the parts, making sure I had everything. No missing pieces this time!
  • I followed the instructions, step-by-step. No improvising, no “I think I know what I’m doing” attitude. Just. Followed. The. Instructions.
  • I slowly and carefully connected it up.
  • I tested, I hold my breath.

It… actually worked! The little pump whirred, the water flowed, and my plants looked happy. I’m not gonna lie, I did a little victory dance. It might not be the fanciest system, but it’s mine, and it works.

So, lesson learned? Don’t be afraid to start over, keep it simple, and for the love of all that is holy, follow the instructions! Rock bottom is a good place to rebuild, I guess.
