Oh boy, I was really itching to catch the Red Sox game today. First things first, I grabbed my phone and started hunting around to figure out what time the game was even on.

I fired up my browser and started poking around. Turns out, the game was scheduled for 7:07 PM ET. “Perfect,” I thought, “that gives me plenty of time to get settled in.”
Figuring Out the Channel
Now, the next hurdle was figuring out which channel was actually showing the game. It’s always a toss-up, you know? Sometimes it’s on one channel, sometimes it’s on another.
I did a quick search, and it turned out that today’s game was on NESN. It seems like you can also catch Red Sox games on NESNplus with DirecTV Stream and fuboTV.
- Opened my browser and searched for the game time.
- Found out the game starts at 7:07 PM ET.
- Searched again to find the channel.
- Discovered the game is on NESN.
- Noted that NESNplus, DirecTV Stream, and fuboTV are also options for watching Red Sox games.
Different Networks
Now, if you’re a White Sox fan, it looks like their games are usually on NBC Sports Chicago and NBC Sports Chicago+.
I made a mental note of all this, just in case I wanted to watch a game another day. Then, I set a reminder on my phone so I wouldn’t forget when it was game time. With that out of the way, I went about my day, looking forward to the evening’s game.

Finally, 7:07 PM rolled around. I grabbed some snacks, got comfy on the couch, and flipped on the TV to NESN. There it was, the beautiful sight of Fenway Park.
It was a great game, a real nail-biter that went right down to the wire! It’s moments like these that make all the searching and figuring out schedules totally worth it. I love baseball!
