Okay, so, I’ve been hooked on this game called Coral Island lately. It’s this chill farming sim, but there’s a whole underwater world too. I finally got to the point where I could actually become a merfolk, and let me tell you, it was quite the ride.
It all started when I got this letter from Cho Oyu, who’s like the big-shot Oracle of the Merfolk Kingdom. I had to swim all the way to her place, and she goes, “Hey, I found a potion recipe that can turn you into one of us!” Thus began the quest appropriately named ‘One Of Us’.
Meeting the Oracle
- Got a letter: Out of the blue, Cho Oyu sent me this formal invitation.
- Swam to her place: It’s this cozy little chamber in the Merfolk Kingdom.
- Heard the news: She’s got a potion recipe that can turn humans into merfolk!
Apparently, this Oracle had been busy because she’d already figured out how to make a potion that could turn a human into a merfolk. I mean, how cool is that? But of course, it wasn’t going to be a walk in the park. There were some hurdles I had to jump over. I did run into some minor issues after a recent game update. My ‘One Of Us’ quest got reset. I booted up the game, and bam, I got a message saying I’d passed a milestone and got some crazy amount of coral coins, like 117,000 of them. It was a bit of a buzzkill, but I figured, hey, more coins for me, right? I noticed a few others online had the same issue, so at least I wasn’t alone.
Now, I won’t bore you with all the nitty-gritty details, but it involved a lot of diving, collecting weird ingredients, and even doing some farming on land to get these special crops. I heard someone online say something about ‘Osmium Crops’ being important, so I made sure to plant a bunch of those. And let me tell you, those underwater farms are a trip! Farming while fish swim by is a whole different vibe. I spent a lot of time doing some farming to get some rare things. And there was a lot of running around, talking to different merfolk, and even dealing with this weird invisible wall that had these red sparkles. It was a whole thing, but eventually, I managed to get everything I needed.
The Transformation
- Gathered ingredients: This was a whole adventure in itself, diving deep and exploring all corners of the ocean.
- Brewed the potion: With Cho Oyu’s help, of course. She’s the potion pro.
- Drank the potion: Here goes nothing!
- Became a merfolk: Tail and all! It was the weirdest, most amazing feeling.
Finally, after all that running around and potion-making, I became one of them. I got a tail and everything! Swimming around as a merfolk is so much faster and smoother. Plus, the whole underwater kingdom really opens up to you. It’s like a whole new chapter of the game. I’ve been exploring shipwrecks, making friends with other merfolk, and just enjoying the underwater life. It’s been a blast, and honestly, it’s made me love Coral Island even more. If you’re playing, you gotta try to become a merfolk. It’s a game-changer!
