Once Human Crystagems: Where to use? Check out how to use it!

Must read

Alright, let’s talk about my little adventure with Crystgins in “Once Human”. You know, these shiny things are pretty important if you want to craft some decent gear.

First things first, I had to figure out what these Crystgins are actually used for. Turns out, they’re essential for making Tier 2 stuff – weapons, armor, all that good stuff. So, I knew I needed a bunch of them.

Getting started, I realized that collecting these things isn’t too hard in the early game. But, man, once you hit the mid-game, it’s a whole different story. I was running around like a headless chicken trying to find enough.

  • Exploring the map: This was my first go-to. I wandered around, checking every nook and cranny. It’s a bit of a grind, but hey, it’s part of the fun, right?
  • Rift Anchors: This was a big one. If you manage to activate all the Rift Anchors, you get a decent amount of these crystals. I made it my mission to hit up every single one. Totally worth it, by the way.
  • Chaosium Lanterns: Oh boy, these were interesting. I learned that they use Chaosium to regulate temperature. When it gets too cold, like -10°C, they warm things up by 15°C. And the opposite when it gets too hot, like 30°C. Handy, but not directly related to getting crystals. Just a cool thing I found out.

Mid-game struggles were real. I was scrambling for Crystgins. That’s when I discovered this “Crystal Transformation” thing. It’s like a trade-off, you know? You can convert other stuff into Crystgins, but it’s not free. It cost me some other resources, but sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Then there’s the whole seasonal scenario thing. It’s like a big event with phases. Each phase unlocks new areas, Silos, Monoliths, and these Prime Wars things. I got into a few of those, and they’re a good way to snag some extra Crystgins if you’re up for the challenge.

Stardust Source: In my travels, I also came across this Startrace Ore. It’s this colorful mineral that you can use to make Stardust Source. Not directly related to Crystgins, but it’s all connected in this big, crazy world.

Photo mode: Okay, this is a bit off-topic, but I had some fun with the photo mode. You can take some pretty cool shots while you’re out there hunting for crystals. It’s a nice break from the grind.

Wrapping it up

So, that’s pretty much my journey with Crystgins in “Once Human”. It’s a grind, no doubt. But when you finally craft that shiny new Tier 2 weapon, it’s all worth it. Just remember to hit up those Rift Anchors, be ready for the mid-game scramble, and maybe have some fun with the photo mode along the way. Good luck, and happy hunting!
