Alright, so I wanted to catch the OKC vs. Denver game the other night. It was on a Wednesday, January 31st – I remember because it was a mid-week game and I was looking forward to it after a long day.

First, I looked up when the game was supposed to start. Looked like it was scheduled for the evening, which was perfect. Then, I started to figure out how I could watch it.
I checked out a few places to see where it might be streaming. I tried a bunch of the usual sports channels, but most of them were not showing the game in my area.
Then I remembered reading something about certain games not being available on the regular channels. It said something like, “if you’re outside of the Thunder TV market…” which I guess I was.
I dug around a bit more and found that a channel called FanDuel Sports Network Oklahoma was supposed to have it. But, guess what? My usual streaming service, YouTube TV, didn’t have that channel. Not in the basic package, and not even as an extra thing you could add on. Bummer, right?
So, I was kinda stuck. I looked at other streaming options, but none of them were a good fit for what I needed. Either they were too expensive, or they didn’t have the game, or they needed some long-term commitment which I wasn’t really into.

What I Tried:
- Checked the usual sports channels – No luck there.
- Looked into FanDuel Sports Network Oklahoma – Found out it was the right channel, but not available where I was.
- Explored other streaming services – Nothing that worked for me.
In the end, I couldn’t find a good way to watch the game live. It’s a real pain when you’re all set to watch something and you hit a wall like that. Hopefully, next time it’ll be easier to catch the game. It’s frustrating, but what can you do?
