Need help buying tickets to RBC Heritage? This quick guide makes the process super easy for you.

Must read

Okay, so here’s the deal with getting those RBC Heritage tickets. It wasn’t exactly rocket science, but it took a bit of doing, you know?

Starting the Hunt

First off, I decided I actually wanted to go. Heard some buddies talking about it last year, how the vibe down at Harbour Town is pretty cool, different from other tournaments. Plus, seeing plaid everywhere sounded kinda fun. So, I figured, why not this year?

I hopped online. Just searched for the tournament name and tickets. You get a bunch of results, obviously. Some looked like reseller sites, maybe? I dunno, they seemed pricier. I always try to find the official source first if I can. Seemed like the safest bet to not get ripped off or end up with fake tickets. Found what looked like the official tournament page handling sales.

Navigating the Options

Man, there were choices. You could get passes for the whole week, or just specific days. Then there were these fancier options, like hospitality tents. Saw something called the ‘Calibogue Club’ and another called ‘Heritage Lawn’. Looked nice, but honestly, way more than I wanted to spend. I just wanted to walk the course, see some golf, soak it in.

So, I decided on daily grounds passes. Seemed like the most straightforward way to just get in the gate. I had to figure out which days worked best. Weekends are usually busier, but that’s also when the leaders are really battling it out. I ended up aiming for Friday and Saturday. Seemed like a good balance.

The Actual Buying Part

Okay, clicking through the site. Selected Friday, added to cart. Selected Saturday, added that too. The site wasn’t super fast, felt a little clunky, but it worked. Had to create an account, or maybe I just checked out as a guest? Can’t quite remember, probably just guest checkout. You know how it is, putting in your name, email, address, the usual stuff.

Then came the payment. Pulled out the credit card, typed in the numbers carefully. Always double-check that part, right? Hit the button to finalize the purchase and held my breath for a second. Sometimes these things time out or crash.

  • Selected Friday Grounds Pass
  • Selected Saturday Grounds Pass
  • Went to checkout
  • Entered personal details
  • Entered payment info
  • Submitted the order

Success and Waiting

Thankfully, it went through! Got an order confirmation screen almost immediately. Phew. Then, maybe a minute later, the confirmation email landed in my inbox. It said the tickets would be digital and delivered closer to the tournament date via email or some mobile wallet thing. Fine by me, less paper to lose.

So, yeah. That was pretty much it. Got the tickets secured. Wasn’t too painful, just required focusing for about 15 minutes to make sure I clicked the right things and didn’t accidentally buy a pass to some ultra-VIP champagne tent for a thousand bucks. Now the waiting game begins. Should be a good time down at Hilton Head.
