Okay, so, I’ve been trying to find some cool swimsuit pics of black women for a while now, you know, for some inspiration. And let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. 2024 is supposed to be a big year for movies and shows with black actors, and I thought there might be some good stuff out there, but it wasn’t as easy as I thought.
I started by looking through some of those “best of 2024” lists, thinking maybe there’d be some red carpet photos or something. I mean, they had lists of movies, and some about upcoming stuff in 2025, but nothing that really helped me with what I was looking for. There was some buzz about new series, like the second season of Squid Game, and some western called American Primeval. Cool, I guess, but not what I need right now.
Then I moved on to browsing those “best shows on Netflix” lists, figuring maybe some beach scenes or something would pop up. They had these huge lists, like, top 100 original series and top 100 movies, all with those Tomatometer scores. Spent a good chunk of time scrolling through those, but again, nada.
I even stumbled upon some stuff about Black History Month and a list of 25 books by black authors coming out this year. That was interesting, but still, not swimsuit related. I mean, they talk about black women seeking information online about hair care and health issues. This is important stuff, no doubt.
After that, I thought, maybe I should just search directly for what I want. So I did a search for “Beautiful Black Women In Bathing Suits” images. This did give me more of what I was looking for. It took a lot of time and scrolling but I found a few images that I liked and saved them on my computer to share with my girls.
Here’s what I’ve learned from this little adventure:
- It’s surprisingly hard to find specific images online, even in 2024.
- Those “best of” lists are great for finding new shows and movies, but not so great for niche searches.
- There are a lot of cool things coming up this year from black creators, just maybe not exactly what I was looking for today.
- Sometimes, you gotta go straight to the source and do a direct search for the images you want.
