Alright, let me tell you about my little “michael jordan and rings” adventure. It was a fun, slightly nerdy, but ultimately satisfying project.

So, it all started with me just messing around. I was thinking about Michael Jordan, you know, the GOAT. And then my brain went, “Hey, how many rings did he actually win? Let’s visualize that!”
First thing I did was grabbed the info. I mean, it’s out there, right? Quick Google search confirmed it: 6 NBA championships. Easy peasy.
Then came the fun part – deciding how to represent those rings visually. I didn’t want to just write “6” or slap up a picture of the trophies. That’s boring! I wanted something…iconic. I wanted rings, duh!
I started sketching some ideas on paper. Just simple circles, really. But then I thought, “What if each ring had the year he won on it?”. That felt a bit more special.
Next, I fired up my (kinda old) graphic design software. I’m no professional designer, mind you, just a hobbyist. I drew six circles, tried to make them look vaguely “ring-like” with some simple shading. Each one got a year inscribed: ’91, ’92, ’93, ’96, ’97, ’98.

Now, here’s where I got a bit carried away. I thought, “These rings need context! They can’t just be floating in a void.” So, I looked for a picture of a basketball court. Found a decent one online and used it as a background. Faded it out a bit so the rings would pop.
I also played around with different fonts for the years. Settled on something bold and sporty-looking. Added a subtle shadow effect to the rings to give them some depth.
To top it off, I decided to add a little tagline: “Michael Jordan: 6 Rings, 6 Times the GOAT.” Yeah, it’s cheesy, I know, but I liked it!
The whole process took me maybe a couple of hours, just fiddling around and experimenting. Nothing fancy, just a fun little project.
Finally, I exported the image and shared it with a few friends. They seemed to dig it! One even suggested I should sell it as a poster. Ha! Maybe one day.

Here’s what I ended up with:
- Six rings, each representing an NBA championship year.
- A faded basketball court background.
- Bold, sporty font for the years.
- A cheesy tagline.
It’s not gonna win any design awards, but it was a fun way to spend an afternoon, and it scratches that itch to visualize something I’m passionate about. Plus, now I have a cool image to remind me of MJ’s greatness. Who knows, maybe I’ll do another one with LeBron’s rings next!
