Hey everyone, today I wanna talk about my experience trying to draw like Michael Harris II. You know, the baseball player with the killer swing? Well, turns out he’s got some art skills too, and I wanted to give it a shot myself.

First off, I gathered my materials. I’m no fancy artist, so I just grabbed a regular pencil and a piece of paper from my printer. I found a picture of Michael Harris II online that I liked, one where he’s mid-swing, looking all focused and powerful. I figured that would be a good starting point.
I started by lightly sketching the basic shapes. You know, like a stick figure but with a bit more detail. I drew a circle for his head, some lines for his body and limbs, and a rough outline for the bat. It looked pretty rough at this stage, but I wasn’t worried. I just wanted to get the general proportions right.
Then, I started adding more details. I drew his face, trying to capture that intense look he has when he’s at the plate. I added some shading to his uniform and the bat, trying to make it look a bit more three-dimensional. I kept going back and forth, adding details and erasing mistakes. It was a bit of a mess, but I was having fun.
- Drew his face.
- Added shading to the uniform.
- Made the bat look 3D.
- Erased lots of mistakes.
After a while, I started to see something that actually resembled Michael Harris II. It wasn’t perfect, by any means, but it was definitely recognizable. I added some final touches, like darkening some lines and adding a bit more shading here and there.
My Final Result
Honestly, I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. It’s not a masterpiece or anything, but it’s definitely better than I expected. It was a fun little project, and it made me appreciate Michael Harris II’s skills even more, both on the field and off.

I guess the main takeaway is, don’t be afraid to try new things. You might surprise yourself. And who knows, maybe I’ll try drawing another athlete next. Any suggestions?
