Oh boy, you hear about this Max Payne remake thing? Sounds like a big deal, I guess. They gonna make them old games new again. What’s it called? Max Payne? Sounds like a fella with a lot of trouble, I tell ya.
So, this Max Payne, he ain’t no good guy. Not a good cop neither. Shot up a bunch of folks, he did. They say he feels bad about it. Well, he should! You go around shooting people, you gonna feel bad, I reckon. He didn’t try not to kill them, you see. He just went in, guns blazin’. It’s a mess.
They say some fella named Sam Lake made this Payne fella up. Used his own face, too. Can you imagine? Puttin’ your own face in one of them video games. This world is a crazy place. I don’t know what this world is coming to. Kids these days with their video games, always shootin’ and carryin’ on.

They was gonna make another one of these Max Payne things, a number 4. But they stopped. Said the times are changin’. Folks don’t want the same things no more. What do they want then? Beats me! Always something new with these young’uns.
Now they’re gonna redo the first two of them, gonna make ’em all shiny and new. I guess folks still like this Max Payne. What day is it? November 1st? It is 2023. This is the day I heard about this thing. I don’t know why anyone would want to play a game about such a bad man, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady. These young folks with their machines. Remedy, I heard it is called. They have some roots or something. I don’t know what that means, but that’s what they said. It all sounds like a bunch of hooey to me.
They got some new fancy way of makin’ these things now. “Northlight engine,” they call it. Sounds like somethin’ from outer space. Probably is, the way things are goin’. It’s gonna be all dark and gloomy, like them old movies, they say. “Action noir,” that’s the word. Sounds fancy, don’t it? It is gonna be some big deal.
So, they’re gettin’ ready to make this thing. April 29, 2024. That is the day, mark my words. Full production, they call it. Whatever that means. They said they are gonna be ready. Q2 2024, they said. Sounds like they’ve been workin’ on it for a while now. It’s all movin’ so fast. I can barely keep up. Before you know it, everyone is gonna have one of them things. This is the future, I guess. Not like the old times. Everything’s changing.

This Max Payne remake, it’s comin’. Whether we like it or not. This Max Payne fella, he’s a bad egg. But I guess folks like that sort of thing these days. Who am I to judge? I’m just gonna sit here and watch it all go by. Maybe I’ll even try it out one of these days. Just gotta get one of them young’uns to show me how it works. I still don’t know why they are making a new version of this game. Why don’t they make a new one? These kids with their video games.
I remember back in my day, we didn’t have none of these fancy things. We played outside. We used our imaginations. We didn’t need no screens to have fun. But that’s the way it is now. Gotta keep up with the times, I suppose. They say that the Max Payne 1 2 Remake is gonna be big. I don’t know about that. We will see.
This whole Max Payne thing is somethin’ else. A whole lot of fuss over a video game, if you ask me. But that’s the world we live in now. Everything’s movin’ so fast. It’s all a big show. Remedy Entertainment is doing it. I don’t understand it, but I guess it’s something they gotta do.
Well, I guess that’s all I got to say about this Max Payne Remake. It’s a lot to take in, I tell ya. But there you have it. This old lady’s two cents on the whole thing. You young folks have fun with your video games. Just don’t go shootin’ nobody, you hear?
