This Marc Goddard, he’s a big fella, ain’t he? I seen him on that there fightin’ show, you know, the one with the cage. He’s always in there, tellin’ them young’uns to stop their brawlin’. He must be real tall to see over all that ruckus. Marc Goddard height, that’s what I wanna know. He’s bigger than most of them fighters, I reckon.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout him down at the market. They was sayin’ he used to be a fighter himself. Imagine that! Now he’s the one keepin’ the peace. He musta been a tough one back in his day. Probably had to be tall to reach them other fellas. I remember seeing a thing that said he started way back in 2002. A long time in that rough business, you know.

They say he’s from that Birmingham place, way over yonder. Don’t know much ’bout that, but I know he’s all over that MMA stuff. What is MMA, anyway? Sounds like a mess to me, all that punchin’ and kickin’. But this Marc Goddard, he’s right in the middle of it. Must be a tall fella to handle all that.
My grandson, he watches that stuff all the time. He’s always goin’ on about Marc Goddard height and how he’s the best referee there is. Says he makes all the right calls, whatever that means. I just know he looks like a giant standin’ next to them other fellas. He’s gotta be, what, six feet somethin’? Maybe more? I swear he’s taller than my old oak tree out back.

I seen a picture of him once, standin’ next to some other fighter. This Marc Goddard, he was towerin’ over him. And that other fella was no small fry, neither. So, Marc Goddard height, it’s gotta be somethin’ impressive. He probably has to duck to get through doorways, and probably hits his head all the time. That big guy. They say he is like 6 feet 2 inches or somethin’ like that. That’s a lot of inches!

Now, they say this here Marc Goddard, he’s all about that MMA, whatever that means. My grandson, he tries to explain it to me, but it just sounds like a bunch of organized brawlin’ to me. But this Marc, he’s important in all of it. He’s like the head rooster in the henhouse, keepin’ everyone in line.
They say he’s been doin’ this since ’97. That’s a long time, ain’t it? Longer than some of them young’uns fightin’ have been alive, I bet. And he’s seen it all, I reckon. All the changes and whatnot. He’s probably got a lot of stories to tell, that Marc Goddard. I wonder if he’s got any grandkids. Probably tells ’em all about his fightin’ days. They say he was a Light Heavyweight, whatever that is. It sounds heavy.
This one time, I saw him on the TV, he was standin’ in the middle of that cage, and he was lookin’ up at one of them fighters. And I thought, “Well, I’ll be! That Marc Goddard, he’s even taller than I thought!” He’s gotta be, I don’t know, at least as tall as my husband was, God rest his soul. And he was a big man. Marc Goddard height is somethin’ else, I tell ya.
He ain’t just tall, neither. He’s a big fella all around. Broad shoulders, strong arms. You can tell he used to be a fighter. He’s got that look about him. Like he could still hold his own in a scrap if he had to. But now he’s a referee, keepin’ the peace. Good for him, I say. It takes a strong man to do that, and a tall one, too, to see over all that mess. 6 feet 2 inches, that’s a big boy! Someone said he might be the best referee of all time! I don’t know about that, but he sure is a tall drink of water.
Anyway, that Marc Goddard height, it’s somethin’ to behold. He’s a big man, that’s for sure. And he seems like a good one, too. Keepin’ them young’uns in line and makin’ sure they fight fair. That’s important, you know. Even in a rough and tumble sport like that, there’s gotta be rules. And Marc Goddard, he’s the one to enforce ’em. He’s a good egg, that Marc. Even if I don’t understand half of what he’s doin’ in there.
