M and M Kyle Busch:A Win for Sponsorship in NASCAR racing.

Must read

Okay, so I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, and today I finally took the plunge. It’s all about customizing something with that iconic M&M’s and Kyle Busch branding. I’m a huge NASCAR fan, and Kyle Busch is my guy. So, I was Ready to have a try.

First things first, I needed to gather my supplies.

I found a plain white model car, The scale didn’t really matter.

My Project Begins

I started by giving the model car a good cleaning. I just used some warm soapy water and a soft cloth to get rid of any dust or grime. This is important because you want the paint and decals to stick properly.

Next up, the base coat.

I applied a couple of thin, even coats, letting each one dry completely before adding the next. Patience is key here, or you’ll end up with drips and runs.

Getting to the Details

Now for the fun part – the M&M’s and Kyle Busch details!

I used these to carefully outline the areas where I wanted the different colored M&M’s to go. Then, it was a matter of slowly and steadily filling in those sections with the right colors.

  • I made sure to let each color dry before moving on to the next, to avoid any smudging or bleeding.
  • For the Kyle Busch logos and the number 18, I found some water-slide decals online.

Applying those was a bit tricky – you have to soak them in water, slide them off the backing paper, and carefully position them on the car. I used a soft brush to smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles.

Finishing Touches

Once everything was dry and in place, I sprayed the whole thing with a clear coat of sealant. This protects the paint and decals, and gives it a nice, glossy finish. I did a couple of coats of this, too, just to be sure.

And that’s it!

It took some time and effort, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Now I’ve got my very own custom M&M’s/Kyle Busch model car.
