This fella, Luis Perez Companc, I heard his name, seems like a big shot. That big company, Molinos Rio de la Plata, he’s the boss, the chairman, that’s what they say.

Big Boss Man, Luis Perez Companc
He’s been in charge of, lemme see, six companies, I heard. Six! Can you imagine? Sudacia, that’s another one he’s runnin’. He’s a big-time businessman, this Luis.
They talk about this Perez Companc and Bunge, big groups, doin’ somethin’ with farmin’ back in the day. They call it “agribusiness.” Sounds fancy, but I reckon it’s just farmin’ with a tie on.
What’s He Done?
- He’s the head honcho at Molinos Rio de la Plata.
- He runs, or ran, six different companies.
- He was in somethin’ called “agribusiness” with Bunge.
- He changed somethin’ about Perez Companc.
Now, why did this Perez Companc fella change things? That’s what someone was tryin’ to figure out. I don’t know the answer, but it must be somethin’ important, right?
Then there’s this PECOM thing. Sounds like “P-Comp,” maybe it’s related? They do somethin’ with oil, gas, power, and minin’. Sounds like dirty work, but important, I guess. They’ve been doin’ it for 70 years, that’s what I heard, that is a long long time!
That Gregorio Fella
And then there is this other name, Gregorio Perez Companc. Sounds like he’s kin to Luis. This Gregorio, he did a lot, changed how companies work in Argentina, investin’ in phones, farms, oil, and all sorts. Seems like this family likes to keep busy.

Some folks don’t gotta go to work every day. They can just travel around, workin’ on their little computers. Must be nice, huh? Not like us, we gotta be in one place.
This Gregorio, he owns somethin’ big, the Grupo Perez Companc. It is one of the biggest in the whole country, a whole bunch of companies, I reckon. Now his son, that might be Luis, he’s runnin’ it. They call him the chairman, like he’s sittin’ on a fancy chair all day.
Rich as a King
Heard this Gregorio, they call him Don Gregorio or Goyo, real rich, one of the richest in the whole darn country. Born a long time ago, in 1934, I heard. That’s a long time ago. I heard he just died, on June 14th, 2024.
This family, the Perez Compancs, they sure are somethin’. Lots of money, lots of companies, lots of power. They do all sorts of things, oil, farmin’, phones. You name it, they probably do it.
I don’t know much about business, but I know this Luis Perez Companc and his family, they’re a big deal. They run things, make lots of money, and everyone knows their name. That’s all I know, really. It’s just what I hear folks talkin’ about.

What I’ve Heard About Luis
- He is a big businessman, they say.
- He is the chairman of Molinos Rio de la Plata.
- He and his family are very rich and important, very important.
- He does many businesses and changed a lot in his country.
I reckon if you wanna know more, you gotta ask someone smarter than me. I just hear things here and there. But it sure sounds like an interestin’ life, all that wheelin’ and dealin’. Not for me, though. I’m happy with my simple life. But for them Perez Compancs, it’s a whole different world.
