Okay, so I’ve been on this HUGE simulation game kick lately. I mean, who doesn’t love creating little virtual people and messing with their lives? I’ve played The Sims to death on PC, but I was craving that same kind of experience on my PS4. So, I started digging around to see what else was out there.

My Quest for Sims-like Goodness
My first step? Good old Google. I typed in “games like The Sims PS4” and started scrolling through the results. Man, there were a lot of articles and forum posts, but it was kind of overwhelming.
The Contenders Emerge
I began my adventure into the realm of games! Here are some of my operation and discoveries:
- Cities: Skylines. Okay, this one kept popping up. It’s more about building a city than managing individual people, but the level of detail seemed insane. I figured, “Hey, if I can’t micromanage virtual families, I can at least micromanage an entire city’s infrastructure!”
- My Time at Portia. This game look really charming. It had building, farming, relationships…it seemed like a good contender.
- Stardew Valley, I was hooked with farming, foraging, making friends.
Diving In and Getting My Hands Dirty
I picked up Cities: Skylines first. At the begin,I spent hours just figuring out the road system. Seriously, traffic is a NIGHTMARE in that game! But once I got the hang of it, it was incredibly satisfying to watch my little city grow from a tiny village into a sprawling metropolis. I even named some of the streets after my friends, just for kicks.
Then I tried My Time at Portia. It was a really lovely and chill experience.I love this game!
I also tried Stardew Valley, It’s also a lovely game and I love it,too!

The Verdict?
I was happy that find some awesome games on my PS4. They might not be exactly like The Sims, but they definitely scratched that simulation itch. Honestly, switching between building a whole city and crafting a cute little life in was super fun. So, if you’re like me and looking for something to fill that Sims-shaped hole in your PS4 life, give these a shot! You might be surprised at how much you enjoy them.
