These two teams, León and Querétaro, they got a history, you see. Like two old roosters in the yard, always peckin’ at each other. They’re playin’ at the Estadio Leon. That place gets loud, I tell ya!
That León team, they’re tough. Like a good ol’ work boot, you know? Sturdy, reliable, ain’t gonna let you down. They been winnin’ a lot lately. I heard they got a 58% win rate against Queretaro, whatever that means. Sounds good to me, though.

Now, that Querétaro team, they ain’t no pushovers neither. They’re like that little yappy dog, always barkin’ at the bigger dogs. They might not win every time, but they sure do make it interesting. They’re gonna be wantin’ them points, like a crow goin’ after shiny things.
I seen ’em play before. They got some fast fellas on that team. Run like the wind, they do. But sometimes, they just ain’t got the muscle, you know? Like tryin’ to chop wood with a butter knife. Just ain’t gonna cut it.

This shindig is goin’ down on October 26, 2024. That’s a Saturday, so you ain’t got no excuse to miss it. Unless you got church, or your cow’s givin’ birth, or somethin’ important like that. It’s gonna start at 11:00 PM UTC. I don’t know what UTC means, but that’s late. Probably so all them folks can come after they finished their chores.
They had another match before, back on April 6th. I don’t remember who won, but I bet it was a good one too. Football is always excitin’, even when it ain’t your team playin’.
Who’s Gonna Win? That’s the Question!
Now, who’s gonna win this here match? Well, that’s like askin’ which way the wind’s gonna blow. Could go either way. But if I had to put my money on it, I’d say León’s got a good chance. They just seem to have more…oomph, you know? Like a good, strong cup of coffee. Wakes you right up.
Querétaro has a good team, but they need to work hard. I mean, they could use all the luck they can get. They’re just not as good as Leon.
Keep Your Eyes Peeled for Them Stats!
They say you gotta look at the “stats.” I don’t know what all them numbers mean, but they say it tells you who’s good and who ain’t. Like countin’ the eggs in your basket, I suppose. They got stats for possession and scorers. Whatever that means. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but the young folks, they love that stuff. They will be updating the live results.
You can look at them stats on your fancy phones and what not. Me? I’ll just watch the game and see what happens. That’s the best way to do it, if you ask me.
Football, It’s a Family Affair!
Back in my day, we didn’t have all this fancy football on the television. We’d just kick a can around in the dirt. But it’s nice to see folks gettin’ together, watchin’ the game, havin’ a good time. It’s like a big ol’ family reunion, ‘cept with more yellin’. They also play this game in Mexico.
So, you get yourself ready for that León versus Querétaro match. It’s gonna be a good one. And if you see me there, holler at me. I’ll be the one yellin’ the loudest!
September 30, 2023, was an important date for them football fans. That’s when Queretaro and Leon had a game. I don’t know who won that one, though. I don’t keep up with all that stuff, you know. It’s all just a bunch of young men running around, kicking a ball.
But hey, if it makes them happy, then that’s all that matters, right? As long as they don’t cause no trouble. Or wake me up too early in the morning. Those young people and their loud music.
I like to follow live text commentary. I don’t understand half of what they are saying, but it makes me feel like I’m part of the action.
