Just “fall short.” Really? That’s the update I fought all day to find?
Clicked it hoping for details… and the article mostly talked about player conditioning and looking ahead to the real season. Maybe one vague quote from the coach about “learning experiences.” Zero points on the board were mentioned. Zero big plays described. It was the opposite of highlights.
What a Waste of Bandwidth
So yeah, my big plan to follow my team turned into a scavenger hunt ending with “They lost. Probably.” Took me like 4 hours across multiple devices to get less info than a pre-season press release. Official sites silent, sports apps useless, social media MIA, and the one media mention treated it like a practice footnote.
Maybe it’s because it’s summer ball? Maybe nobody cares about G5 teams outside gameday? Either way, trying to be an informed fan today felt impossible without actually being in the stadium. If this is how hard it is to find the score, good luck finding actual highlights. The whole experience felt like shouting into a void. Guess I’ll just have to wait for the regular season press office tweets or something.
