Well, let me tell you, that Las Vegas race, it’s a big deal. They say it’s the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Sounds fancy, huh? But it’s just cars going zoom, zoom, real fast. My grandson, he’s all excited about it. He keeps talkin’ about this Formula 1 thing. I don’t get it, but he sure loves it. They say it is in November, something about 20-22 in 2025. Boy, that is a long time away. I don’t know if I can wait so long.
They got all these cars, and they go round and round a track. It is called Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Sounds like a motor running. I saw it on the TV, it’s all bright lights and loud noises. Just like that Las Vegas place, always somethin’ goin’ on. They say many people watch this race, all come to Las Vegas. They say it’s the best race. I don’t know, I like to watch my stories on tv more, but that is just me.
This race, it has these, what do you call them, parts. Three parts! Just like a pie. One is Q1 and it is 18 minutes. Then, there is Q2, 15 minutes. I think it is for the cars to go zoom zoom first. I heard this is call qualifying. Do not ask me what that means. It is how they know who is the fastest, I guess. That sounds kinda fast. But you know, young folks, they like fast things. The whole race thing lasts long. They say over 100,000 people go to watch it. That is a lot of folks in one place.

You can ask them questions, I guess. Sounds interestin’, maybe. I don’t know what I’d ask them, though. They also say this thing is free. Free is always good. You know, nothing is free these days. So that is good.
