Okay, so I was digging around the internet the other day, just killing time, and I stumbled upon this quarterback, Kirk Cousins. I’m not a huge football fanatic, but the dude’s got some funny nicknames, and I thought it would be fun to compile them. This is what I got.
First off, I gotta say, this whole thing started with a simple search. I just typed “Kirk Cousins nicknames” into the search bar, and boom, a bunch of stuff popped up. It was kinda overwhelming at first, but I started clicking around, reading articles, forum posts, you name it.

The first one that jumped out at me was “You like that!”. Apparently, this became his thing after a big win back in 2015. I even found a video of him yelling it after the game. It is so funny. The story goes that he led his team to a crazy comeback win against the Buccaneers. I guess he was pretty pumped up about it.

Then there’s “Kirko Chainz”. This one’s a more recent thing. He was seen wearing a bunch of chains around his neck after some games, so naturally, people started calling him that. I saw some pictures, and the dude was seriously decked out in bling. It’s pretty hilarious, and honestly, he kinda pulls it off.
I kept digging, and I found out that these nicknames kinda took on a life of their own. Fans were using them, other players were using them, even some famous people were using them. For example, I read that this rapper Quavo, who’s a big Falcons fan, even posted about “Kirko Chainz” on his Instagram. And get this, even those commentators, Peyton and Eli Manning, were in on it. They mentioned it during one of their “Manningcast” shows. And Pat McAfee? He talked about it on his show too. This is crazy!
After spending way too much time on this, I realized Kirk Cousins’s nicknames are more than just silly names. It became a whole thing. This is a journey. I hope you guys can get some fun from my digging.
