So, I’ve been messing around with bikes for a while now, and I recently got my hands on a Kawasaki Ninja EX250. I thought I’d share my experience with you all, from start to finish. Let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride!

Getting Started
First off, I had to find the right bike. After looking around, I decided on a used 2007 Kawasaki Ninja EX250. Some people call it the Ninja 250R, others say ZX-250, or even GPZ-250. There are even folks who call it the EX250-F or EX250-J, guess it depends on when it was made or the color scheme. But for me, it’s simple the Ninja 250. It seemed like a good balance of price and performance, and honestly, I just liked the way it looked.
Digging In
Once I got the bike home, I started to really get into it. The Ninja 250 is powered by a 249cc engine. It’s liquid-cooled, which is pretty neat. From what I’ve read, this thing can hit speeds up to 160 km/h. Not that I’ve tried that out yet, mind you.
I spent a good chunk of time just going over the bike, checking everything out. It’s pretty light, which makes it easy to handle. I’m no expert, but I’d say it’s a good bike for beginners. It feels solid without being too heavy, you know?
Making It Mine
Now, I couldn’t just leave it as is. I had to make it my own. I started with some basic stuff, like adjusting the levers and the rear preload. Apparently, these are some of the features that are similar to the ZX600-E model, along with the aluminum perimeter frame. It is nice to have the levers just right.
Riding Around
Once I had it set up how I liked, it was time to take it for a spin. Riding the Ninja 250 is a blast. It’s responsive, smooth, and just feels great on the road. I mostly stuck to city streets, but I did take it out on the highway a couple of times. It handled both really well.

Wrapping Up
All in all, working on and riding the Kawasaki Ninja EX250 has been a great experience. It’s a fun, reliable bike that’s perfect for someone like me who’s into casual riding and tinkering. If you’re thinking about getting into motorcycles, I’d definitely recommend giving the Ninja 250 a look. It’s been a solid ride for me, and I’m looking forward to many more adventures with it. You will see me on the road for sure!
