So, I saw this thing online called “Physical 100 Season 2”. Sounds wild, right? It’s like a reality show but with crazy physical challenges. I got hooked on the idea and figured, why not give it a try? Not the actual show, obviously, but some of the challenges, at least. It all started on April 2, 2024. That is when I first saw someone talking about it online.

I started by watching some clips of the show. Man, those guys are intense! They had this mine cart challenge where they had to push or pull these heavy carts. I thought, “I can do that.” Well, maybe not with a real mine cart, but I can rig something up.
I went to my backyard and found some old weights and a sled. I tied a rope to the sled, loaded it up with the weights, and started pulling. It was way harder than it looked on the show! I could barely move the thing at first. I was huffing and puffing like a old train. I kept at it, though. I pulled it across the yard, then pushed it back. Back and forth, back and forth. I did it maybe ten times before I felt like my arms were going to fall off. Then, I went back in, feeling pretty good about myself, but man, I was tired and very sore.
A few days later, they had this obstacle course thing. I don’t have monkey bars or anything like that, but I made my own course. I set up some chairs to jump over, some cones to weave through, and a spot where I had to do ten push-ups. It was pretty lame compared to the show, but it was still a good workout. I did it a bunch of times to beat my best score, and then I had to take a nap.
My Workouts
- Day 1: Tried the mine cart thing, nearly killed myself.
- Day 3: Made a makeshift obstacle course, felt like a little kid, but I’m not complaining.
- Day 5: More mine cart pulling. Got a little better at it. The sled moved, for sure.
- Day 8: Obstacle course again, shaved a few seconds off my time. Pretty proud of that.
- Day 12: Decided to try a different kind of obstacle course, but I tripped and fell. It hurt, but I was fine.
After some days, I was exhausted. I was not even close to being as strong as those folks on the show. I realized that those people are some really strong people. It looked easy on the screen, but actually doing it was so hard. I was sore, tired, and pretty much done with my little experiment. I decided to give up the challenge. However, I kept watching the show, though. I have a lot more respect for those contestants now. It’s some serious stuff they’re doing.
So, yeah, that’s my “Physical 100” story. It was fun, it was tough, and it made me realize I need to hit the gym more often. Or at least do some push-ups once in a while. It was really a good time, and I think I might try it again sometime. I mean, why not, right?
