Alright, so I was messing around with some football data, specifically looking at the Juarez vs. Santos Laguna match. Here’s how it went down.
First, I grabbed the data. You know, I just wanted the basic stuff like the final score, maybe some stats on possession, shots on target, that kind of thing. Nothing too fancy, just enough to get a feel for the game.
Digging into the Data
Once I had the data, I started to, like, poke around. I wanted to see if there were any obvious patterns. For example:
- Who dominated possession? Was it a pretty even split, or did one team really control the ball?
- How many shots did each team take? And more importantly, how many were actually on target?
- Were there any, you know, big moments? Like, did the scoring all happen in a short burst, or was it spread out throughout the match?

What I saw
In the end I saw that this game looked to be a very one-sided game. Juarez won the game 5-1 in the end, and they seemed to have done well in all of the metrics. Santos on the other hand did not register a good showing in any aspect.
So, yeah, that’s basically my little adventure in football data. It wasn’t anything super complex, but it was fun to dig in and see what I could find. I think I will try this again with a game that is much closer.
