Okay, so today I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with the Jazz and Celtics game. I’m not a huge basketball follower, but I keep hearing about these two teams, so I figured I’d dive in and check out a game.
First, I looked up their schedules online. Found a game that was on tonight – perfect! No need to wait.
Getting Started
Then, I pulled up a live-broadcasting app on the TV.
I grabbed some snacks – gotta have popcorn for a game, right? – and settled in on the couch.
Watching the Game
- The game started, and man, those guys are fast! I was immediately impressed by the athleticism.
- I spent the first quarter just trying to keep up with who was who and what was going on. Basketball is a pretty quick sport.
- I started noticing some of the star players – you know, the guys whose names I’d heard before. They definitely stood out.
- I still don’t fully know the game, but I gradually followed up the game.
Final Thoughts
By the end, I was actually pretty into it! I cheered when “my” team (I kinda arbitrarily picked the Jazz at the beginning) scored. The game went down to the wire, super exciting finish!
I definitely gained a little more appreciation for basketball today. I might even watch another game next week. It’s a fun way to spend an evening, even if you don’t know all the ins and outs of the sport.
